Oh yuk. We got this picture here in Britain.

I thought Huntsman's were horrible enough.

I put this on another thread but my nephew has licence and any illegal reptiles and insects that are siezed at airports, have to go some-where as they need specialist treatment.

My nephew came home one day and his dad said, "Your really in trouble now, big trouble son".

"You know that black widow spider you lost a few days ago? Well it's turned up at number 4 and they've called the police. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

They haven't come across an African tree Frog and a corn snake by any chance

Jasus...that's one big fekker there Mags...wouldn't wanna meet him on a dark night:thinking:

....tried to pop out into the backyard this morning and found one "humungus" web outside my door...musta been 5 ft. tall and 3 ft. long.....

I was late for work and my camera needed batteries. Web was gone at the end of the day due to rain.

I just wonder how big this spider is to build a web this big??? And, is it living in my yard??

Scary dude...

Oh KE hubs & I were sitting on the deck this summer and watched a huge spider take down a web out of a tree and watched it blow across the yard. It was really neat...we were both at the same time saying to each other "did you see that"?

The pic on the top of the forums at present shows you what i do with mice. I love em :wah:

I was cleaning one night and this spider came out from the broom bristles. I picked it up in my hand and opened the front door. It was raining torrentially so i thought, i can't chuck him out there, he'll drown, so i popped him in the airing cupboard instead.

My husbamd had a spider drop on his lap from the sun visor when driving. He brought it home and put it in the shed. That was horrible and i haven't been in the shed since, but OMG, that one.... No way, Yuk:(:(

Oscar, come over to the US and take all the field mice you can export over to the UK, believe me, nobody will miss them. But I did see a spider walking up the wall the other day and hubs was about to smash it and I screamed "no, they eat the stuff we don't like to see". He left it alone:-4

WOW !!!

is that spider normally a carnivor? I find spiders facinating, we have such teeny spiders here... We have one of the most deadly here if you can believe it and he is a little brown insignificant thing and is rather rare The Brown Recluse...

But I find spiders most interesting....

As for Mice oooo please take them away, I don't fear them we forever have infestations of them come winter, they just annoy the hades out of me because they are so darn dirty.

Yuck! Despise mice. I'm known in our house as the mouse killer and I have no qualms doing the dirty work of poisoning the little buggers.:sneaky: I put the poison down and laugh..........I'm mean. Die you little b@sterds. Just this week I had to go under the deck and patch up some holes in the foundation.

I will take all of your mice away. they can all live at 'Oscar Towers' in lovely England where the only thing they have to worry about is cats.

Please save them all up and post them to 'Oscar Towers' England. They know where i live, it's full of mice :wah::wah:

It's getting very cold here. The weather forecast predicts sleet for wednesday so it'll be cold. That's when all those black hairy wood spiders want to live in your house.

Hubbs came home one night and leant over the sofa to turn a light on. He said to me, I don't think you ought to look behind here. I said, it's o.k. i've seen it.

Anyway he went and got a glass and cardboard to do that neat trick with them and then had to go and change it for a pint glass, it's legs were that long.

My puppy is bringing snails into the house. Yuk. We also get grass snakes and toads, but i love them all:)
