Obama's redistribution of wealth plan how it may affect you

Subject: Great story forwarded to me. This works for me with Obama supporters.

Yesterday on my way to lunch at Doe's, I passed one of the homeless

guys in that area, with a sign that read "Vote Obama, I need the

money."

Once in the Doe's my waiter had on an "Obama 08" tee shirt.

When the bill came, I decided not to tip the waiter and explained to

him while he had given me exceptional service, his tee shirt made me

feel he obviously believes in Senator Obama's plan to redistribute the

wealth. I told him I was going to redistribute his tip to

someone that I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. He stood

there in disbelief and angrily stormed away.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $3 and told him to thank

the waiter inside, as I had decided he could use the money more. The

homeless guy looked at me in disbelief but seemed grateful.

As I got in my truck, I realized this rather unscientific

redistribution experiment had left the homeless guy quite happy for the

money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away

the money he did earn.

Well, I guess this redistribution of wealth is going to take a while to

catch on with those doing the work.

Yes, do not not share the wealth keep giving it to the wealthiest who own your politicians so they can gamble it on the stock market, after all the wife needs another trip to whatever department store is fashionable for little piggie wives nowadays. Oink oink oink, bacon bacon bacon.

Anyway everyone knows that poor people are poor because they are losers and simply are not optimistic enough like those wonderful hard-working rich people, watch how hard they drive their limosines around the Hamptons, the poor buggers. Not like those ungrateful swine on the buses and subways, damn socialists, marxists, pinko commies, blacks, gays, jews, etc etc. :-6

You should set up labour camps for these backsliders, who just are not patriotic enough, you see they just don't understand freedom, not like proper americans in penthouses, or in the hills with guns and bibles. No, those scuzzy unter-americans just want to be slaves, obama's slaves in his new muslim super-state run by the black helicopter people.

I thought it was a really good analogy.

Add to that scenario that if the homeless guy was a regular, it's not unlikely that the waiter might have given him some money anyway, but at least then it would have been the waiter's choice.

Wealth redistribution seems to me to be the wrong way to go...Although I'd like to see the same results shown to be intended by such a piece of legislation I think doing it by virtue of mandatory insurance policies would serve society much more...Affirmative action already being prevalent I think simply placing added incentives to lower wage paying jobs would be adequate.

All companies in the United States should provide 401k to all employees everywhere or be subject to penalties. The more the employees the heavier the penalties. Keep welfare but put extreme oversight behind the operation associated with it and cut off those who abuse the system. Provide social workers to act as personal employment agents by sector acting not only as a business councilor but a social councilor that provides their clients with access to day care facilities half paid for by the parent(s) and the state at the same time treating the situation as a term identical to probation.

One person per say 40 clients from which would ultimately be paid by the state from the money being saved from giving out welfare to all and anyone claiming to need it.

What would be the problem with that?...

Initially the OP email recieved was a cynical view of "Rob-in" Obama's wealth redistribution plan! Obama's slogan is: Change is needed" and it may wind up to have to hurt some folks. Well, politicians will "say what ever they have to say" to get elected! Take that "$250,000 & above income figure Obama says will be taxed higher, and then redistributed to the lower income needy. Well, if elected, here comes the change! Cause after realizing that the anticipated revenue from taxing the $250,000 incomes does not generate suffucient funds to redistribute to all the needy, here comes the "change that will hurt"! That amount will drop to $200,000, and when that change still won't suffice, hurting change again! That amount will drop to $100,000, and so on!!!

I married very young, (my choice) and worked hard to be responsible and support my family. Went to college at "night" for eight and a half long years! Worked hard all my life to be successful at my job for "46" long years, so as to have what I have now. So no, (no apologies) I don't want what I now (not overly wealthy, just comfortable) have to be "redistributed" to those who choose to not work cause they can get a "handout" from Obama! :-5
