Clowns
Do you like them, or not?
As a child I did not like them, but never said so cause so many others seem to enjoy them so much. I wondered "what was wrong with me".
I did not like their painted faces, their baggy clothes, their stupid antics............
As an adult, I still do not care for them.
If you like them, can you explain what it is about them that you like.
I don't like circuses either. Didn't like them as a child, don't care for them now. The smell was terrible, many of the workers were frightening, and the caged animals made me very sad. Going to the circus was not a happy occassion for me. How was it for you?

I agree with you. Even as a little kid, I always thought the whole "clown" thing was kind of weird.
As I grew up, I realized that all clowns start their life as this:

Clowns
I've always liked clowns. They've always made me happy. I know a LOT of adults who fear and hate clowns. I never really understood it until I saw the movie "IT". :wah:

I don't like them either. They are just so stupid to me. I did watch the Bozo the Clown show when I was very young. I also have never liked circus' either...I can't stand the way they treat the animals.

Good ole Bozo. I used to watch him on TV as a child in Chicago.

Clowns are an exaggeration of everything to me. Like they are shouting at you, "LOOK AT ME. I'M FUNNY..................SO LAUGH!" I am more affected by subtle and unexpected humor. Just ask Jimbo, here, on the Forum. :wah:

I worked with a guy once who would freak if he even saw a picture of a clown. I threatened to decorate a whole room in clowns. :wah: I didn't though. I was afraid he'd either quit or have a heart attack.

That sounds like my middle daughter...she totally freaks out when she sees a clown.
