If someone were to tell me I couldn't use my first name anymore, I'd say, "Them's fighting words!" and we'd have to fight tooth and nail. It could get ugly.

I have always thought the name Elizabeth is a beautiful name and I like the name Rebecca....but I would ask to go by Reba if shortened, and wouldn't want Elizabeth to be shortened if possible....do I ask for too much?:yh_rotfl

I changed my name unofficially to "CARLA" many many years ago. I hate my real first name. A friend started calling me Carla in high school it stuck. :yh_rotfl
