can anybody tell me..is there a law , a federal law that requires american people to file income taxes..??????

i was watching a bunch of utube videos that claim there is not..

If you make over a certain amount of money you have to file. There is a law requiring you to file. Those that claim the government does not have a right to collect income tax are using the premise that our forefathers did not provide for it. They claim there is no constitutional foundation for the collection of income tax. But current law, whether constitutional or not, does require the payment of income taxes. Those that claim there is no constitutional foundation have not actually challenged the tax laws in court.
