Black Friday

We have the same thing here on Boxing Day.

We did it one year, and ouch!

way to early and way to many crowds for us.

but you do get some amazing deals for sure, getting rid of all their 2008 stock!

this is the time if you have money to buy.

I'm not going out on Black Friday either this year. Went last year and it was insane! Target looked like a nuthouse. I don't even remember what I bought:wah: that I really wanted and got. Although they were running a great sale on DVD's for $5.00 and I got a few of them. I do remember the big ticket item there was for a $700 46" plasma tv and they were flying out of the store.:wah:

I dropped in our local mall this morning about 10:45 am to purchase a pair of gloves. Very few cars in the lot and stores were quite empty.

Stock (in Dillard's) seemed to be light when I viewed handbags and ladies clothes. Lots of sales -- like 25%, 40% and some 70% off. I actually only viewed one other lady shopping and making a purchase there.

Either people are waiting for next Friday, when they think they are really going to get a good bargain, or they are not buying..............

I personally think people are not buying.
