For those who've failed to follow the plot so far, it's the weekend of 30/31 January and it's London Zone 1. The intention appears to be that some at least will show up on the Friday and some at least will still be partying on the Sunday night, we might narrow down which part of the riot is the actual FG UK Fourth Meet nearer the day when more people have crept out of their mouseholes.

It's too late to get a British Visa from the Essex Consulate, Carolly, you have to apply three months in advance to travel further West than Epsom.

YES you have to go! I'm going (haven't told hubby yet but he'll know when I tell him his dinner's in the freezer and see him on Sunday!)

Will you be staying in London? If so shall we try to stay at the same place? It's a bit of a trip up and back in one day for me.

Just looked at Travelodge prices - if you book early they are from £55 per night.

Great idea. Once I have persuaded my family that it's a good idea that I leave them home alone, I shall sort out accommodation. I would aim to come up on the Friday too - so we can liaise on meeting up and getting the party started!!:sneaky:
