I have a trainee licence, it means I'm nearly fully qualified, I have to have a bit of extra tuition but I can take pupils out for money now!

hmmmmmmmmmmm never even thought to put that in my 'about me!':-5

thanks for reminding me!

I stay up to date with all vehicles, but my favorites are still the great ones, the ones that aren't computerized, the ones that were made of steel and seldom broke down. The classics.

- I was saddened to here they are disconuing the Pontiac Solstice, a favorite roadster for me.

The Porshe 911, oh my god, now she's got class!

The Dodge Aries, although its not a classic, that engine rocked....some felt like it was 'just a car', but you can drive that car forever.

The the Dodge Hemi, now that baby can outrun any of them.

- honestly, I love your car, its sexy and sleek designed curves, are astounding, hope you enjoy it and congrats!

Love the car, perfect size

the mirror thing is a big plus I'm sure.

Our mirrors in the US don't fold up/retract as a top selling point

we continue to crash into them & keep going....:wah:

Enjoy your ride

There are some cars here that have folding mirrors. I had a 1992 Chevy Suburban 454 engine in that baby it was so big that the mirrors had to fold or you couldn't park it between poles, posts, garages, or car ports unless you folded them in. :yh_rotfl

It was an amazing car you could pull anything you wanted right off its foundation if necessary. I drove it across country a couple of times loved it. I actually miss "Gloria the gas guzzler" as I called her. :driving:

Carla - Odie

I understand the mirrors folding on a truck/LG truck

Immy has a very nice mid size CAR

his mirrors fold/retract...!! I believe/ a guess - the reason for the CAR mirrors is driving / parking in Europe is a trick - narrow roads, 95% of vehicles are small.

Mini Cooper has been in Europe for yrs.

Parking is a hoot..!!!

Rare?? ok the majority of our cars have folding mirrors here, mines a small car and it does.

Maybe we have narrower streets here, when you park in a narrow road you turn the mirror in thats on the roadside. Other drivers think nothing of hitting any that are sticking out. People walking on pavements will think nothing of walking into them as well.

Our cars are parked on streets most of the time, it's not the norm here to have your own 'drive'.

Last family car we had (just gone, gear box died, then everything else started to play up!) also had electric folding mirrors, which are great when you remember to fold them in, when you forget and a lorry smashes one off then it gets expensive!!! lorry driver paid though, my car was parked with me sat in it.

Loving the new car, keep finding excuses to drive it!:driving:
