Indiana and abortion?????

Now PLEASE tell me i misunderstood what i heard on the NEWS. That a clinic in Indiana was giving away. Gift certicates for $25. for any health realated issue. incuding abortion. HUH!!!!!!

I called a friend of mine. In Indiana. She said she had not heard of this. Can someone confirm this outrage for me????

Weather the right to choose abortion is right or wrong, this is sick. I feel that in britain, they wouldn't have even got a company to manufacture the vouchers. :-5:-5:-5

It's not encouraging women to get an abortion, this is also a clinic for anything.

- but some must understand that some women, either from rape became pregnant, or being pregnant and just a kid themselves, and other reasons, some women do not have money to have an abortion done, this will greatly help them in their time of need.

I had to have an abortion once, how shall I put this: I did not want anything to do with the man in my situation whatsoever, and no woman alive would have.

It's an issue that is spreading beyond Indiana. On ABC News.com today, opinions were mixed. One person wrote: "Wal-Mart gift cards can be used to buy alcohol and ammunition ... but nobody is outraged."

I'm pro-life, and so are all my girls...unless it's an extreme case like incest or the mother is at great risk. Babies from other circumstances could be put up for adoption...there are so many people that would love to have those babies cuz they can't have any of their own. Too many people use it as a form of contraceptive. But it also pi$$es me off when pro-life groups go around with their nasty signs...and I've told them that.

This is a planned parenthood clinic, I don't know if you have them in Canada, but here in the states they are pretty much abortion clinics. I've heard way too many stories, especially from young girls, that when they go in there, they don't get hardly any counselling on options and they really push the girls toward abortions. Planned Parenthood is a joke.

They are supposed to be giving advice on alternatives to abortion too, which is a rarety. So many girls go in there seeking advice, then they push them into abortions...some really scar these younger girls. I'm just pro-life so I have strong feelings about this.

I ,being pro choice. i Do not want women to lose their right to choose. But this is much different then any other gift card. I have been in the same situation as you. I will have to do more thinking on this subject
