You have always said your piece up front and directly to the person concerned - usually politely and in a reasoned manner even when faced with rudeness and ignorance. Nobody can ask for or expect more than that.
There is nothing for you to apologise for - even less for you to be banned for so peace be with you and see you as soon as you want to post again.

You know, if RJ could fall out with the Ubuntu support forum of all places on exactly the same grounds as he's fallen out with FG, the problem does lie at his end. Elite mods, lack of accountability, non-transparent processes?
Anyone can fool a forum like this for a while, it takes no brainwork. What puzzles me is how it can be fun when it's guaranteed to end with exposure? Years ago we called this cloaking, not sure if that term is used anymore but basically described a member trying pass themselves off as differently named member on the same forum, usually to take the p!ss out of someone.
It was thought on as the lowest and despicable act to lie and cheat on forum chums.
In cyberland we don't know who each other are really unless we meet up ect but we do build up friendships and tell each other things about ourselves that maybe we havent even told our families ect...The written words between cyber friends are so intense and at times so rewarding and a lifeline to some, I feel its only a coward and a lying cheating scumbag that would try and pass themselves off as someone else after building up a rapour with members.
Whoever it is, is not new to this forum. Nobody could build up such an intense profile on members here without having interacted with them at some stage.
