I hid the newspaper

Post by chonsigirl »

And he found it anyway. The editors asked for Christmas wishes: world peace, end of the war, end of the economic slump, etc. I put my little wish, to hear my husband say my name again. (you all know I would ask for that, my selfish little wish I will wait forever to hear) They put it as the #1 wish, and he is reading the paper now. I told him not to read it, I do not know if he will understand it or not. Or recognize it is my name.(I do not know what he can read or not) I hope he is looking for dinner specials or something else, I am taking him out to eat tonight for our anniversary. He knows we are going out to eat, and is happy about that.

At a time when so many are saying 'iwant' and looking at material things a wish like yours makes us all humble.

I hope your wish is granted soon.

Oh my, thank you all so much. He saw my name-and he knew it was me in the paper, but didn't understand what I wrote. (which is good) I took my husband out early for dinner before it got dark and the storm comes in. We had a nice meal and he picked out some goodies he wanted to take home to snack on during football games tomorrow. We smiled all the time, and had a lovely anniversary time out. He is safe and snug on the couch taking his nap, and I was blessed with another anniversary with him. :-4

It sounds like a good day, chonsi. I'm pleased for both of you. You can both enjoy being there and you both enjoyed it.
