The Un-Expected Visitor

Post by Oscar Namechange »

Today, i was so dissapointed to miss the FG meet and the chance to meet my fellow countrymen who i have been winding up cruelly for many months now since Spot weedled me onto this forum.

We all know now that my life changed dramatically when i was arrested, locked up, prosecuted and brought to trial by British Police because i happened to give a feck about my war memorial being systematically vandalised for eight years with no police action. The next few months are going to be messy and complicated and i know what i am up against and i have even been warned by high ups as to what i'm taking on.

Some days, i have the 'Dunkirk Spirit' and some days i can't face going out for a pint of milk incase a complete stranger approaches me based on having seen me in newspapers, it must be ok to come right into my face and say'Your that woman in the papers arn't you? Including the one in tesco Express friday night who i called a wanker.

Throughout the past year, i have had the un-wavering love and support from my family and yes, even my 15 year old nephew who told my arresting officer during my trial to 'Shut the f**k up'. Bless him  I have had the most incredible loyalty from my community, local officials, the RBL war vets who gave me a guard of honour every day of my trial complete with standard bearers. 80 - 90 year old vets sat in the public gallery of my trial for days although most fell asleep. One vet, Tommy, riddled with cancer. The Chairman there every day as though he was leading his troops into battle again once more. The Tory MP who never announced his identity and sat in the public gallery with the press gallery full totally un-aware of who he was. The Tory Councillors who went head to head with the police on my behalf even being called by the defence to tell the judge what a shyte job the police had done to protect our war dead and what drove me to be standing in the dock and who are still by my side a year later. My friends who made sure i ate and slept. My GP who gave up an hour every week so i could let off steam in confidentiality for almost a year. The hundreds and hundreds of letters of support i had from Daily Mail readers. The famous lawyer (who i won't name) who offered to represent me with no fee and stuck with me dispite our clash of personalities over the months. The anon business man who payed my court costs when they were reported in the paper. (I since tracked down). The most unlikely loyalty of one gutter press hack who was tipping me off via e mail (Thanks mate, Your a star) My loyal friends in the muslim community who draped the national flag of Turkey around me the night before my trial to protect me. The batty old woman up the road who came to my home to give me a fairy pendant for luck before my trial.

I could go on and there's many i have left out.

And then FG's, there's every one of you who i have spent months talking to albeit some-times heatedly when i needed something to take my mind away from it all. Yes, even that kilt flinging party of one, gmc. :)

A year ago i was 'summut or nuffin' going about my usual life probably taking much for granted if i was honest.

I know, i know.... your thinking, just get to the damn point Oscar :-5

So who was the Un-Expected Visitor??? Will it take you as long to figure out as it did me??? :-6:-6:-6:-6

:wah: Ironically and what a hell of a co-incidence but when i did the BBC Radio Northampton programme...The Stranglers were on right after my prog. But nooooo, Not them.

Another clue......... The un-expected visitor (s) could be people you have known a long time but their visit surprised you.
