I just wanted to let everyone know what I have been up to since I was last on here. Please all let me know what you have been up to and what has changed too :)

As you probably know my daughter will be 2 this August, how time flies! I started going to the gym and shaped up, I started running, which I love and try to do to 2 miles at least twice a week.

I learnt some Tai Chi and I still meditate. I am a qualified beauty therapist and I am training in holistic massage and also to become a Reiki master so I can work from home more. It is challenging to work around 4 children with a full time job.

I have a strong interest in all things paranormal and psychic abilities. I love to read mainly spiritual books and the odd autobiography.

Last but not least... I met the man of my dreams, my best friend and soul mate. He is in the US Air Force stationed in Japan for now but soon to be moving here. We recently got engaged and plan to marry as soon as possible this year.

It has taken until nearly 34 years old but I finally feel I know who I am :)

Such happy news, Hammy. :) I am so happy for you!

I learned Tai Chi a few years ago, it is so good for you.

I am learning Tae Kwon Do too, flying around with the youngsters a couple nights a week. :wah:

And I'm going to be a granny in October!:-4

That's all for news from me!

From reading all of that it seems life is busy but good for you Hammy.... it was a pleasure to read someone who's life is doing so well... :-6

Is Tai Chi more about meditation Hammy?.... I think I'd like to try that if it is....

Holistic massage sounds wonderful too! What does that involve that differs from a normal massage?

Wow do you enjoy Tae Kwon Do? A granny..wow.. at least you have some time to prepare. Do you know if it is a girl or a boy? It seems it might be a bit soon?

Yeah life has been up and down but certainly on the up now :)

Yes it is a bit like a moving meditation, although it is good for strengthening the physical body too. It is very calming and I love it.

Holistic massage aims to treat the whole client, more emphasis on the over all wellbeing of the person and not "just" using massage to relieve stress or to treat an injury. I guess it is more focused on prevention of illness rather than a localised treatment.

Do you meditate Milly?

Yes, Tae Kwon Do is lots of fun, I didn't think I could do it. You must like the Tai Chi alot, it is one of the things I do before bed at night, very relaxing after the day.

Don't know if it's a girl or boy, it is too early yet. :)

I must admit I don't do it so much now, I prefer to run and meditate. I tried to find a Tai Chi teacher and class that would fit in around school times etc but I wasn't succesful so far. I will keep looking.

Yeah I thought it might be, oh well something to look forward to.

Other things aside, I am glad that you are happy. Marriage too. That's something. I really hope it works out for you.

My oldest sister's husband is now retired. He was in the RAF. He had a fairly high rank when he retired but I can't remember what it was now. I do know that they lived in various places according to where he was posted. Germany and Gibraltar were two of the places where they were posted. We didn't see very much of them because of that. You'll get to meet a lot of people that way. Although my sister complained about having to move about so much, I think she enjoyed the different places. She always spoke well of Germany.

Despite the many moves, their children had a fairly good education. Of course, they acquired a very broad view of life.

I guess it won't be long before you move then.

If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong though. It's Hambone.

Well if they aren't, just tell them to hang around with uglier people and they will never notice.

Very best wishes, Hammy!! I'm very happy to hear things have worked out well for you.

Usual chaos here, but mostly things are good, or at least hopeful. And it's a gorgeous sunny Sydney day with the harbour water sparkling.
