Out of New Zealand that is. We leave this lovely country and get back to California on the 3rd of March. The weather here is turning nasty with wind, rain and cold, however the part of California in which I live doesn't appear to be much better. This NZ visit has been shorter than usual, but their are christenings, uni graduations, weddings and funerals to attend to in the states. I am glad that

California passed their huge mega budget or they might not have let me return. If they have some huge tax increases to help pay for the spending, I may just move to another state or go back to New Zealand.

And CA did pass thier budget- get ready for usage fee tax increases galore! Starting with my favorite government (lack of service) service The DMV! I will be removing all my vehicles but the bare necessities from the road and NON-OP as many as I can, dropping the Insurance, and making my own biodiesel so I will have to buy as little taxable gas as possible.

I'm glad I have two older cars---------2001 Toyota Camry XLE (40,000 miles) and wife's baby---------1991 Mazda MX6 (70,000 miles). Going back and forth between Ca and NZ we don't put many miles on.

On one your posts you mentioned fig trees----------must be in the San Joaquin Valley---Fresno--Visalia?
