Dont butt in.....
My boyfriend and I live on a canal he moved in with me about 8 months ago,we get along with everyone here. Anyhow he is really good friends with a couple candy corner from us,however, they are different then us, not in a bad way, but they drink to much and fight alot, she is about 90 pounds dripping wet, anyhow, yesterday she came over and said her boyfriend had punched her etc. and of course she was drunk, you could tell that he had, still she didnt want to call the police she stayed about 5 hours. Until finally it was late at night and we started dropping hints to leave........
I dont think it is our place to come between these two, they have lived together for 10 years, and I dont want to get sucked into their lives of drama.:-5:-5

Yeah, I would stay out of it. Maybe she just needs somebody to talk to. Did she sober up while at your house?

My boyfriend drinks , sometimes alot, and I think thats why he gets on so famously with them, I try not to judge, but sometimes I look at them all and think, how is this a benefit?

does your boyfriend know how you feel? I don't see any reason why you should have to entertain your neighbors if they are that much trouble. Jeez, don't tell her your son makes money....she'll be trying to mooch off him & you. My hubs drinks too, but stays out of peeps business.

If she was obviously hit by her boyfriend, then all you have to do is call the police and tip them off to the abuse. If it happens again, then at least they'll have a little history.
You should at least do that. Even if she's annoying and a trouble maker, she is still a person. She is still in harm's way.
As for your boyfriend, you can't control who he befriends. Express your concern and leave it at that. If it's something you can't tolerate in your life, then leave him.
