This isn't very interesting news but I felt like sharing. The last couple of days we've had beautiful weather here. Tonight after work my roomie and I took Ruby and Barney (roomies dogs) to the beach.

It was my first visit to the beach since last summer and it was lovely. The dogs ran like mad things in and out of the water. They had a great time. Roomie and I got sore ears from the cold wind but it was great to get some sea air. I'll sleep like a log tonight.

It's amazing how something as simple as a nice walk along the beach makes you feel good :D

The beach, best place to be any time of day or night :-6 Actually, just anywhere near the sea will do me.

Glad you had a great time Pink :-4

Isn't it strange that if you live close to a beach, you hardly go but when you do, you wish you did more often

I lived about a mile from the beach for most of my life .. Since I've lived in Belfast I've really missed it.

The dogs are a perfect excuse to drive to the nearest beach :-6

Back in the days, long, long ago, I used to use a beach at Newcastle occasionally. It was fantastic then. Do you know if it still is. It was pretty private, near a large inlet

Looking at the map, I'm pretty sure it was on the opposite side of that bay/inlet to Dundrum (It was 32 years ago )

when I was a young teenager I used to walk along a beach near Williamstown to get away from everything (Yes okay , I found out later it was actually a naval rifle range, but it was good at the time) It made me feel at peace with life.

Try to make a habit of it Pinkckick it'll be good for you.:):-6
