Hello from Cornwall
Hello there!
I live in Cornwall, right down the far end near Lands End.
I am a housewife and mother of an 8 year old Dyspraxic boy and a 3 year old girl.
I have lived in Cornwall all my life and can't imagine ever moving away.
My three year old is about to start nursery part-time so I'm trying to decide what sort of job to return too. Have just finished a word processing course and plan on doing a basic accounting course just to keep my brain alive and ticking!

Hello from Cornwall
Thank you for the welcome and hello.
It is beautiful here - except when it's foggy! I live in an area that is prone to fog!
It's a lovely sunny day here today, a bit windy but never mind!

Hello from Cornwall
Was raining overnight and this morning but cleared away mid-morning! Should be up with you later!! :yh_pray
Dyspraxic - sometimes known as clumsy child syndrome. It's when parts of the brain fail to mature properly in the womb. It affects children differently and my son is very clumsy and emotionally behind his years. He attends mainstream school with his own assistant to help him stay on task! He is also very clever and is a sponge for soaking up information! He shows traits of an Autistic nature and I am currently fighting to get a better diagnosis for him.
my son was also born eight weeks premature.

Hiya Betty welcome to the Garden, what a lovely part of Britain you live.
I stayed in Bude once it was a very sedate place, Tintagel and Boscastle ( where they had the flood ) were so historic.
Hope you enjoy your time here in the Garden, i look forward to your posts x

Hello from Cornwall
Thanks for the welcomes!
Look forward to posting.
I've never been to Bude, but have been to Tintagel and Boscastle, planning on returning to Boscastle sometime this year to see how they're recovering from those awful floods.
Lots of places around here have been affected by floods over the last few years too, but fortunately not at the scale Boscastle suffered.
