L.A. Coliseum may be site of Jackson memorial - Michael Jackson- msnbc.com

The latest blurb-maybe a memorial in the Colliseum-where the Lakers held their championship victory. (for the Lakers, I would have defnitely been there, you really rock!)

For Michael-just leave him be, bury him with family and friends present, a big to do is not called for. He was an entertainer, not a dignitary.

To lie in state-that is for former presidents, or someone of high importance. MJ doesn't qualify for that aspect, and even the wording of it seems very strange to my American ears.

Now that MJ has had his two autopsies and had all his organs removed, including his brain, dissected and weighed, fluids sent to toxicology labs along with tissue, and then put back into his chest and abdominal cavity mixed with sawdust and formaldehyde powder somewhat randomly, what we have left is a shell that the embalmers will restore to a likeness of what once was.

Those viewing the remains will never see the X or Y cut incision across the chest or abdomen, or the incision from ear to ear around the back of the skull to remove the brain. Going to the Wax Museum to see his likeness would give a better viewing.

Leave him be is right on Chons. Wow, am I not surprised to hear that they want him to be lied in state? Micheal jackson was a great performer on stage...in real life he was somebody else....so many things running through my brain...not a real person. I don't know if you saw my comment on the 2nd autopsy the family wants...to get the "real" answer on his death...imo...they want it covered up...

nope, he doesn't qualtiy for a state funeral, let the family handle it as it is their wishes what to do.

Totally agree, they made my granny look like a vampire. Wish i'd just remembered her the way she was.

Just was watching CNN and the Michael Jackson debate concerning his father...a blogger is calling the father "shameless Joe Jackson"...I agree with him on that...the monster is not named in Michaels will...not surprised.

You are so right Ducky. His mother and children are getting most everything. It is rumored that a lot of Michaels problems stemed from the fact that his dad never thought he was good enough. I know...shouldn't be an excuse, but having parental acception plays a very important part about how we feel as adults. I just seems to me that he was always trying to be just a little better, look better, perform better, what have you. I believe that his fathers rejection had a deep physiological on Michael. Just my opinion mind you.

In view of the new funeral arrangements for MJ at the "Staples" and a proposed charge of $25, I am surprised the family didn't push for a public autopsy. They could have held it at the "Rose Bowl" and charged $150 a head. They could have called it "The Horizontal Moonwalk".:wah:

I don't want to see anyone like that... I prefer to return and spend time with them before they die. I certainly don't wish to remember them dead and made up. I also don't want to be displayed like that when my time comes.
