Octomom Signs Deal with TV

LOS ANGELES - Octuplet mother Nadya Suleman has signed agreements for each of her 14 children to earn $250 a day to star in a reality television show.

The contracts filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court guarantee the children will collectively earn about $250,000 over three years. The contracts require a judge's approval.

European production company Eyeworks has inked the deal with Suleman. Eyeworks lists "Breaking Bonaduce" and "The Biggest Loser" among its television credits.

The show is slated to begin filming Sept. 1, according to the documents.

The payments outlined in the contracts say Suleman's kids will collectively earn $125,000 for 36 days of shooting in the first year of production, $75,000 for 21 days in the second year and $50,000 for 14 days in the third year. Any extra shooting days will be compensated at the same rate.

The contract also states that 15 percent of the gross compensation will be deposited by Eyeworks into a "Coogan Trust Account," as required by California law. The monies can't be touched until the children are 18 yrs old, but I'm sure she'll have her grimy hands in it. So disgusting.

I'm with you, I despise reality shows....their lines are made-up, its all here-say, gossip, bickering, like a bunch of chickens.:-5:-5:-5

I dont know. The show will last only so long and thats a college education for them or a home, not a bad way to get started in life.

I thought the same thing Nommie. This pathetic woman brought all of these children into the world...now give them a higher education so they maybe can become better than her.

Have you heard that childrens rights activitists are now in on the game? They've taken mummy to court and demanded the children have an independant guardian. Apparently the "nursery" is now a "workplace" and the children have rights to work in a safe "work" enviroment.

which makes me think of all those nanny shows.......Children need to have a seperate contract now?:-5:-5:-5:-5

I tend to agree. If the world is interested then why not? She's basically looking after their futures. Everyone complains that she's leeching off the state then hounds her for not leeching off the state.

Whether you agree with her actions or not at least she's looking after them the only way America allows.
