My name is Jazzy and I am looking forward to meeting all of you. I own several pets that I have rescued from shelters to provide them with "forever" homes. I love meeting new people from all over the world and this forum looks like I've found the right place for that. Hope to get to know all of you and make some new friends along the way.

Hello Jazzy!! I see you've been warmly welcomed, and Nomad hasn't even got here yet.

I read your opening post and immediately thought of my good friend, Frannie who lives in Poughkeepsie and saves feral cats!!! And digging the snow off her sidewalk (3feet a night at one stage) while killing ourselves with crazy laughter. She'll have the Halloween decorations up now. Ahhhhhhhhhh... I'm so long overdue a visit.

Um... but I digress.... welcome to Forum Garden. :sneaky:

Hello AussiePam! Thank you for the welcome and I used to work in Poughkeepsie when I was younger. Nothing, however, beats the snow I get here where I am. We have had snow in the mountains and soon it will hit the lower valley where I am now.

You need a bed?

It's Halloween already in Australia, so for those of us who go bump in the night - there won't be much sleep....

Where did I put my broomstick? Have you got a spare black cat I could borrow???? I am happy to share some of my bat friends.

(Sydney is overrrun er overflown with large black fruit bats.. LOVE THEM)

Gosh, I didn't know she had money .... :sneaky: But you know her..... Blimey..

I've been browsing round FG this morning and have realised that I really haven't an effing clue what's been going on here.. people leaving, threads being shut, breakups, ignores, trolls, other secret forums everyone except me knows about, hot goss I haven't a clue about. People who return and I don't recognise..

I think maybe it's time either to admit I have precocious senile dementia, or that it is really true that I'm just a completely blonde bimbo, OR that I live in a parallel universe or have amnesia or am just completely unintelligent..

All of the above...

I shall now implode and go barefoot into my kitchen, where I shall hope to find objects I still recognise...

AND COFFEEEEEEEEEEE

sigh

Ok, I've seen the other thread responses :yh_rotfl

But yes, I can. At least my friends never turn down an invitation, and there's never anything left.

Sorry - too late, the prizegiving dinner was scoffed by several Gannets and Waterfowl of Indeterminate Origin.

I'll start preparing for next year.

It involves rabid wolverines, rusty nails, medieval stretching machines, mind torture techniques, sub zero temperature implementation, hydrochloric acid, screeching nails on a chalkboard and a special surprise ending.
