Never let a newbie scratch your scratch card

If i'm at the tobacco counter and my change is a pound something i would tend to say to the person serving to just give me a scratch card and put the pennies in the charity box.

I done so tonight as usual. While unloading the shopping at home i hand my husband the scratch card and say, go check & see if we are millionaire's babe.

Little did i know my husband has never scratched a scratch card in his life and had completely defaced the images with his over enthusiastic scatching so i will never know if we won anything or not :-2
