I say no. First impressions are everything. I once went into an interview for a scholarship...and when I was leaving...instead of going out the exit door...I walked into the supplies closet.

Hot that was too funny. I think folks ought to understand how nervous people are in that crutial first impression stage and I think there is nothing wrong with a second chance.... unless your busted at something bad then it is out the door no questions asked....

That is one move you just can't take back.
That's more funny than a bad impression. If someone did that at my interview I wouldn't think badly of them, I'd crease up laughing! :wah: But if someone came across rude or whatever it would take some convincing afterwards to change my mind
I think first impressions are very important, but not critical. If it's bad, then it just takes longer for someone to reverse their initial impression. I've met new people at work and thought, "oh this one isn't going to work out", or "I can't work with him/her". Then after a few months, turns out these people are actually ok....just came off wrong, usually because of being new and shy and just babbling nerviously (I hate excessive talkers) Some of my best friends now are people I didn't think I would get along with.
As for my little supply room dodging sister....that wouldn't be considered a bad first impression in my book. (nice by the way, thanks for sharing....still giggling).
