hello from a very happy and joyous grumps
i,ve opened a bottle of dom perinon and put my abba LP on here at the towers because i,ve read some really good news.
so grab a glass and have a drink of bubbly with your old friend the grumps.
FURY was mounting last night as the Government refused to reveal why one of killers of toddler James Bulger was back behind bars.
Justice Secretary Jack Straw defended the veil of secrecy surrounding Jon Venables' return to prison.
The shocking refusal by the Ministry of Justice to divulge the details of why the child killer has been locked up again comes as a detective who led the investigation demands answers.
Venables, now 27, is in jail again after breaching the conditions of his release.
The strict rules included a ban on him contacting his fellow murderer Robert Thompson or the Bulger family.

one down one to go but fury is mounting why the government are keeping this a secret.
why just goes to prove how untrustworthy brown and his cronies have become
on the one hand he says he will be open about what the government do and then
decides that a high profile case like this is not in the publics intrest brown has two faces the one he shows the public caring brown and the one he lies to the public
with.
i hope every one remembers this on election day this blunder could have cost brown
the election.
public pressure must be kept up as to why venables is back in jail meanwhile i hope
that the cons do cotton on to who he really is and give denise bulger the justice she deserves.
because the parole board home secretary or the hand wringing do gooders must not make the mistake of letting venables or whatever he,s called now go free into the outside world if this happens there should be a public outcry especially if the home secretary has anything to do with this but i personally think that brown and co will not risk an election on this political hot potato and play it down untill after an election.
but the glaring truth is that he must remain behind bars forever for all our childrens sakes.

First of all, Gordon Brown nor his Cabinet should take any blame for this. He was not In No 10 when venebles murdered Jamie Bulger... He Inherited the case as did his cabinet.
My personal theory for the secrecy ( For what it's worth) Is that If and I under-line the IF, he has hurt another person while on license, then It totally destroys the entire thinking of the Bleeding Heart Liberals that Re-habilitation vs long prison sentences is the way to treat such cases. Should Venebles have commited a violent act, the country, naturally is going to be In uproar. This could even see a lean In the election to hard line Parties such as the BNP who advocate the death penalty.
As you know Andy, One of my Immediate family is awaiting trial fro murder. ( Put back to the 21st September). One of his co-defendents was just 14 at the time. Forget all the jumped up so called experts who can decide weather the likes of Venebles are safe to walk the streets again, I have spent 9 months talking to the kids Involved. All I will say, Is from the way they are, they way they act, and the some of the things they have said to me during visiting, I truelly hope for the sake of the public they spend no less than 30 years In prison because If they don't, then I fear for the safety of others should they dare to cross them.
