Another thread said lady cop is leaving Forum Garden!!!!!

SOMBODY DO SOMETHING FAST TO GET HER TO CHANGE HER MIND!!!!! :-2

Hi gang! I've been working all weekend and have only just now gotten the story on this. Ladycop will not be back here, and I am the next to go. Administration here aparently wants to involve itself in the private conversations of it's members, and if they don't like what is being said, they take action. That action is to remove LC and me as moderators. That's fine, I have no problem not being a moderator anymore. What I do have a problem with is no one saying anything to me directly. When you get fired from a job, your boss comes and tells you. Not here. You are "removed" and ignored. And the fact that the term "private message" is a lie. There is nothing private about them at all. Administration can and worse, DOES read the PM's in this forum, and to me, that is wrong. I would guess that this post will be very short-lived. I'll be staying here long enough to see if that's true, and then I'm out too. If it does get deleted, I will re-post, and then I will probably be banned. Regardless, I am leaving also.

Thanks to all of the awesome people here. I really enjoyed the time I spent. To A Karenina, DerWulf, Carla, Jives, Cars, Polycarp, Greydeadhead, Tmbsgrl, AngelC, David813, and probably a few others I am forgetting, I will certainly miss you guys! A couple of you have my email address, please feel free to write if you want. Thanks for a great time.

BR, sorry to hear of the current situation. You & lady cop have definetely been an asset to this Forum. It will be a pity if you guys leave, you must reconsider!!

I can understand the position of Forum Garden mgmt, to reserve the right to monitor "Their" Forum. As they are the ones leagally/morally responsible for the content & intent of the Forum. So don't be too hard on them!

Maybe you guys can be reincarnated under other names as some others have

done. You could now be something like:"Adolescent Rider" & lady cop could be say: "lady law". Sleep on it overnight, don't be too hasty & just give up!!! We all here will miss you guys terribly!!!

SHEESH Like Baby Rider, I did'nt get to the forum until late Sun night, saw the LC threads and responded, went to "new posts", and found another dunghill with this thread. Two of the brightest lights on the forum sumarily dismissed as mods --no counseling, no warning, just a summary dismisal.

The more I find out, the more disgusted- no, make that pissed off I get.

Yea Paul, I just read your self serving, condecending, response. Your "rights" are unarguable, your administrative skills are reminiscent of the dark ages, this is not a corporation, you are not guarding state secrets, it's bad enough to play peeping tom prior to discussing the issue, it's primitive to take draconian action without out input from the accused.

I became a supporting member because I thought this was a place for grown ups [with all their foibles], and free from overzelous admin.

Two of the brightest, intelligent, and big hearted members, fantastic ladies that provoke, inspire, and whom have provided endless hours of sharing their thoughts, and voicing their concerns-- posts that were much more than mindless drivel have been IMO treated badly. bottom line- if they leave, so do I. SHAME ON YOU.

Well Paul I am sure every action is due to a reaction, so don't go changing who you are and carry on managing the board.

And gang remember we had a conversation not so long about I think Hot started it about how great this board is.... remember it was our 2 grand Poohbahs Tombstone and Paul who got this place up and running. And thus far have done a great job and I am sure are going to continue to do so.

Yay! Thank Goodness... I can breathe easier. I really felt terrible to lose anyone, especially BR and LC, two of the most dynamic personalites on the board. Let's all take this as a lesson learned and put it behind us, shall we?

Welcome back to BR, my beloved "board mentor" and to LadyCop, my "board advocate" I owe you both and would have missed you terribly if you had gone.

and now, please realize that my heart can't take much more of this!!!! :wah:
