Don't tell me about California drivers, New Zealanders are worse by far. They drive way too fast for road conditions, pass on blind curves, bumper hug, drive over the double line. It doesn't matter how fast you are driving, someone will want to pass.
What's the result?? A pretty high death rate for a small country. Of course many New Zealanders are of Irish decent and Ireland according to the following chart has a pretty bad mortality rate for auto accidents. Must be some kind of genetic deficiency.:wah:

Auto Drivers with a Death Wish
I think the average driver across the board has gotten more careless about their driving responsibilities; ignoring speed limits, allowing themselves to be distracted while driving, forgetting basic driver's education rules. Driving to them is more of a right, than a responsibility. I also think many folks do not enjoy the ride anymore. Driving is a chore...........a way to get from point A to point B. You can enjoy the drive, and be responsible as well. JMO

For comparison, the National Office for Statistics gives the figure for the UK as just under 5 / 100k :-

I did notice that in the OP statistics, UK (England) and Russia were absent.
