You know how people ask you "How's your day been?" and you automatically reply "not much happening" and "nothing to write home about " and "Oh, just pissfartin around"..............but then you think later , well, actually this happened...but they are already on another subject or gone.........

this is "THE PISSFARTIN AROUND THREAD" that you can put down the stuff that is .."Nothing to write home about" or "not much happening, but I did cut my finger today" ........and such.....

It's the usually mundane stuff that actually becomes legend in it's own right.

so put it here ..have a go ..

yeah okay I started the thread, so I'll begin ..the other week a chainsaw hit my leg.....nothing to write home about because I didn't get hurt ...which is interesting because i always thought that my leg would have a deep gash in it if ever a chainsaw hit it ..nope! the teeth got caught in my jeans and it bounced off.......hmmm you learn something new everyday .

Going out and getting wood again on sunday ..no, I will not test this theory a second time .

Well I aint venturing out today, because of this ash cloud proceeding over the UK at the moment, no use taking chances even though docs etc have said there should be no problem with peoples' health. Then they say asthmatics should carry their meds and sprays with them if they go out. Actually most sensible asthmatics always carry their meds with them any way !

I shall be pissfartin around doing some washing today - I've done two loads already, and expect to do a couple more. How interesting, entertaining, exhilarating even! :rolleyes: :wah: Now where's that paint I have to watch drying?

The 'ash cloud' is the one kicked up by the erupting volcano in Iceland and spreading all over the UK and Europe, closing down airports because of the danger to jet engines in the planes. Hey, Fuzzy, you must really live in the outback Mrs! This ash cloud is having a terrific knock-on effect with planes grounded. USA are feeling it, not just Europe. Causing big problems with the movement of people to different countries and also to the movement of goods by air! Everybody is hoping that this eruption won't aggravate Katia volcano into erupting as well - could be a much worse scenario with regard to toxic gases into the atmosphere. You'll have to check up the thread I put up about the volcano, which has an unronouncable name ! :wah:

Okay gilly!! I'm sorry I'm australian, if you give me a short name I have to elongate it.:yh_rotfl...it just so happens that we shorten a famous crickters name to gilly.......we do this stuff, don't ask, it's complicated.

had know idea ....but to be honest nobody overseas knew that our fires put out as much energy into the atmosphere as five atom bombs that is circling the earth right now and is having effects elsewhere .................who knew? *shrugs* I suppose the earthquakes are going to have the same effects on the planet....weird huh?

didn't even know Iceland had errupted....thanks for the info . Shall tell friends tomoz.

Nothing to write home about but I'll be pissfartin around digging more holes in the ground today for fence posts and then for some bushes. And if the weather holds out, I'll be back to painting the outside of the house. I have extra shovels and paint brushes if anybody is interesting in lending a helping hand.

bought new plants for my fish-tank.......now I like that.:guitarist

birdies are back from winter, blue-jays, cardinals, wrens, sparrows, red-wing black birds, doves etc, so filled up the 3 feeders.:guitarist

cleaned the house.:-5

and that's about it so far, wasn't that special?:yh_rotfl

i stopped playing farm ville..........hate any thing to do with mafia wars as its another zynga product

play farm town tho....about 10 mins aday is all its takes now im up to level 78

but they cant see any thing about you unless you accept them as a friend.............and you dont need to sign up with a real name....a freind of mine was in a similer position....i think she was about the 900th Katie Price on there ..:yh_rotfl..she just used it to keep in contact with those she could trust and so she could paly the various games whilst keeping anonymous

mum and dad came to see me today. only stayed for a few hours but that's enough, it's a long drive.

and yes they are well and healthy and I made them sweet potatoe and pork pies and coffee for lunch.

Dad was funny he couldn't resist going down to the beach and having a look as to what they were catching on the surf. He came back and pretended to cry because he was there for ten minutes and they caught an elephant fish a gummy and two whiting ..........:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl After the long unsccessful fishing story he gave me just before he left I think he's depressed now.:wah::wah:
