As a currently disposable diaper user myself, I will take a moment and reflect on ol RC Duncan. What would we do without em??
I probably posted that in an ambien trance-soryy

Guess what - I just heard that "terries" (old fashioned nappies) are making a comeback!!!

There's a lady in my locality who has been raising awareness of landfill sites and the fact that disposable nappies do not bio-degrade. She designed pre-folded nappies with bright designs and she has representitives all over the UK - mostly mothers who have converted! This is her website:

The "Parents" of today having Pampers & the like, have no idea how nasty "Cloth diapers" were, back in the stone age. Not only did they "leak", & get you wet while holding the child, they sometimes fell off if not "pinned" (with safety pins) properly. Parents sometimes got stuck with the pins, trying hard not to stick the child, then the worst part, you had to take the poopy diaper to the toilet bowl and empty the nasty contents into it, flush it down, and then rinse the diaper in the bowl to get out the heavy soil. Then ring out the diaper and then put it into a holding bin/tub. If you were not financially able to afford a "Diaper-service", after several were accumulated they had to be washed in a washing macnine (if you were lucky enough to have one) with detergent & Clorox! Then they were "hung on an outside clothes- line to dry. (If you were lucky you may have had a "Dryer) In the Winter, you had to hang the wet diapers inside all over the house! So you Pamper users really have it pretty good, & you don't even know it! :-2
