I Like To Sweat

Post by Lon »

I like to sweat, the more the better, but not from labor like digging a trench or chopping up firewood or any other form of disgusting manual labor. No, I like to sweat playing sports or any form of athletic activity or love making. The more I sweat the better I get. No one sweats like I do. I can work up a good sweat at 20 degrees below zero. Some people never seem to sweat no matter what the conditions. Dancing for any length of time, particularly Salsa or Tango will soon have me saturated. Not the coolest thing for my partner though, holding on to a blob of sweat drenched shirt or jacket. Of course it's important to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. Alcohol while refreshing dehydrates. Are you a sweater?:)

Unfortunately, with my age, I can be sitting there and break out in a sweat. I sooo wish I could drink water but it just disgusts me. I drink iced tea most of the time. I've been doing Crystal Lite lemonade too.

I can't do a lot anymore either, just a few steps per day.

Crystal lite is great, I have been drinking the packets for years as I also hate water.

these are my favorites

cranberry/pomegranate

cherry

green tea with honey
Life is just to short for drama.

Used to sweat a great deal, from manual labor though. Spent 10 long, hard, dirty, miserable years in a certain factory. The machines gave off much heat and I had to do much lifting. Six days most weeks. On occasion, seven and always more that eight hours a day. Other jobs were outdoors, baling hay, field work, etc.

That kind of work helped me stay fit in spite of the abuse I put my body through by drinking and carousing. Ahh, the good old days.

No, I am not a sweater. (but Theia is a cardigan goddess) :)

I don't sweat, no matter how much exercise I do. Used to make the TKD masters make me work harder, they thought I was beeing lazy. 50 deep knee bends, then 100. No sweat. Jumping jacks, like forever, and kicking drills for 30 minutes+. I still don't sweat, but I'm pooped!

Only time I sweat is when all the sparring gear is on, I think because it is covered on the outside in plastic, not nice next to the skin. Now they just watch my little old face, when I turn a dark pink, then they think I've had enough.
