shoutbox achievements

hey, sorry if there is already a help thread on this, I'm in a bit of a rush and don't have time to search :-3

on the achievements list, why would the 'ouch, my ears' one be highlighted in yellow? it says 'you've shouted 500 times' but I've never used that feature apart from once just now to see what it was.

it's no big deal, I was just curious about how it works. thanks.

Hi Limey,

I think that we're all trying to learn what the shout box and new products do.

You don't have to use the shoutbox to achieve 'activity points.'

Go to 'Activity' in the navagation bar above and then click on 'Encyclopedia'

You can then view why you received certain points....I think this is right...dunno....I think that when you post, it's called a shout and it's worth 50 pts. So if you received 500 points it means that you posted 10 times. Everytime you post, start a thread etc you gain points.

Ohh, I didn't realize it was new haha. I haven't been back here in a while.

Thanks! Also, I thought it meant I'd said 500 things in the actual shoutbox on the main forum page lol, that's why I was confused.

You can go to 'settings" and scroll down to the left bottom to click on "shoutbox setting" where you can check or uncheck what you want to see or not.
