Get Him to change his mind!!!

Post by cars »

Posted by capt_ Buzzard:

I returned rather late yesterday after a very long extended holiday, to find not a very cheerful bunch of guys. Perhaps some of the members have gone on holidays too? Who really knows. However I'm bowing out of Forum Garden for awhile. I have found a new neat little Dublin Forum www.dublin.ie

They have kindly asked me to help in the Irish Culture & History section. See you all later. Be Happy,

Capt

capt- surely you can find the time to drop in our Garden here at least once or twice a week!!! You're the "King" of the "One" liners, that can't take too much time! Also, you'll loose your "Highest-Posts" ranking, so you must reconsider!! You will be truly missed if you choose not to visit us any more!!!

Do drop in here at least once or twice a week !! :wah:

After all, it is the ragulars that drew me in to begin with. :confused:Flop, you are a wonderful person...it's great to have you here! :)

No no flopstock, it is not anything new comers have done. All boards suffer blips and bumps along the way, a little peak here a little valley there.

Don't change a thing ok.

Capt.....take a look at that post count. Close to 4000. You have been here since the beginning and you know how a board can ebb and flow with the times.

When I first got to this board, I immediately took a look at the post count. That doesn't tell you what kind of a person it is, but it does tell you who has the most invested in the boards and who the other members look up to for guidance and leadership. That high poster is you. That role model is you. That leader is you. You have invested a lot of time and effort on us, and I, for one, am the better for having known you.

Go ahead, jump over to the other board all you want, we'll still be here for you. This is your home for as long as you wish and we'll always celebrate your return, whether you're gone a day or a week. :o

What was the rest of you up to? Lady C + others up the ladder should have out-posted me. And you say that I have been here since the beginning? Oh dear, I must be getting older:D

I think every forum must have it's winter spring summer and fall. If things didn't evolve it would be a very strange world indeed. It is upsetting when people say they are outta here like there is something wrong with us but that is not the case here so it seems. I'm thinking that the good Capt. will find himself caught up in a discussion or two as the seasons change.

I do appreciate the notice of what's going on so I don't think you're mad at me...or us...or it. Hope you have fun at the other place. You know, the one that's trying to steal you away. damn them, damn them all

I agree with Koan. I see now that it was a mistake to let you go on vacation, Capt.

Yo Buzz, I have it on good authority that you are really an AMERICAN, republican from Texas posing as an Irisher, is the new Forum aware of this ? :yh_wink :yh_shamrk :yh_peace
