I used to watch Corrie, and I'm familiar with the character you referenced, but having read the article you have cited, I cannot see any sort of levity in the situation.

I had not previously heard of this incident, and I'm sorry to have read about such a despicable individual.

this item was not intended to offend but just to show a suprising similarity to the character

personally i think he should hang
