dispair of soldiers stolen medals the AA grumpy column

Post by the grumps »

good afternoon just a quickie in between the racing from your old grumpy

now i,ve covered some vile things in my column but this has got to take the biscuit.

A HEARTLESS burglar broke into the home of a Sheffield soldier and stole his war medals - despite being confronted by his shocked younger sister.

Alec Wood, aged 25, was awarded the two medals for his service as a Private with the Territorial Army's Yorkshire Regiment in Iraq and Kosovo.

Today his sister Eleanor, 19, said her brother had been left "really upset" by the cruel theft, adding: "Medals are one of the worst things you can take away from a person in the Army. He lost friends on both tours, so the medals are very sentimental to him."

what sort of a vile lowlife would steal the medals of a brave soilder who,s served in dangerous places like iraq and afghanistan.

the sort of lowlife pond scum we have prowling our streets today thieves making a career by thieving from others.

what makes me angry is when he gets caught he will get a community service order or 3 daft months in the nick sorry butlins with all the comforts of home and care and understanding and will be back out thieving in a few weeks while this brave man endured heat bullets and bombs thousands of miles from home.
