Watched them last night. There were the obligatory "upchuck" inducing moments. Like Katie Perry wearing a yellow box on her head & inviting Khanye West to snatch the microphone from her. (Why was this idiot even allowed back after what he did last year?)

The usual cries of "OH ... MY .... GOD!" Like in the unlikely event of such an entity existing, he/she would give a flying f ..k about who won a MTV award! Lady Gaga swopping a red meat dress for drag this time and looking for all the world like a poor man's K.D. Lang.

And the pièce de résistance ... Beyonce taking off her jacket to reveal her "baby bump."

Like there are a gazillion or more babies born in the USA every year so who would care about her having a bun in the oven?

1997 MTV MVA's was the last time I cared to watch any MTV awards show

though I remember the finally of that year a bit crazy though Marylin Manson always went for crazy
