It's not easy to deal with once it grips you, Captain.

I'm a smoker, I just haven't had a cigarette for seven years. It never goes, though. I might take one any time, I can never tell beforehand. The occasions when I haven't are all a consequence of remembering how much effort it is to get back to where I've reached, and nothing to do with a lack of desire.

Stay healthy.

first read, i thought you had fallen in a bar? 9 years dry? i am surprised you to have a problem with the bottle? a few weeks off cures all? i haven't had booze in almost four weeks this week-end. My anniversary on Sunday, i did have 2 blanc wines and an Irish coffee. i was totally SICK of wine. I felt my tissues in my body soaked in sulfites. have no problem without it. wine for too many years & tired of being TIRED. drink lots of water. :yh_shamrk

When I first read that post, I thought you went on a drunken rampage and wrecked the place, then got arrested and put in some kind of rehabilitation facilty called a "ODAAT" :D

But anyway.....what really happened must be what we call, "falling off the wagon". You relapsed. Well you still have more fortitude than this poor alcoholic. Good luck to you and would that I were you. :o
