Euthanasia for humans may finally become legal in Canada!! It's legal for our pets, just not for our human companions.

B.C. court upholds right-to-die exemption

Gloria Taylor has fought the good fight and won. The federal government is challenging the court decision that laws against assisted suicide violate human rights but, in the meantime, the good woman has been given an exemption from the hold on the decision. If, at any time, she decides that she is too uncomfortable she will be permitted to have her life ended.

What a brave fight. I hope the judgement is upheld and Canadians will soon be permitted to determine when their life is no longer worth the pain of their illnesses.
