President of Ireland roughs up a Tea Partier

Post by Snowfire »

I don't know much about Michael D Higgins but he don't take any prisoners. I gather he has just caught his breath

This is a radio interview with Michael Graham, whom Mr Higgins called a wanker :yh_rotfl

A Tea Partier Decided To Pick A Fight With A Foreign President. It Didn't Go So Well.

There's a link on that page for the whole interview

We're obviously a bit behind the times here. The interview was 2010 but the article was posted Aug 2012 and it got stumbled

He was a politician then but he is now a president which might have flagged it up

That's fine. I just went looking for the TPers stirring something specific up and couldn't find it.

His passion and conviction is what American liberals lack and what I think made Obama an effective orator in 2008. Obama wasn't afraid to interrupt media or people he debated and assert himself. Of course, Obama ended up being just another moderate conservative in the end.

I like the way he spoke.

Does he still speak off the cuff as president or is he more scripted?
