Council had 83 warnings about sex abuse in town where Asian sex gang spent years raping dozens of children as young as 10 | Mail Online

Apparently, authorities now say ' lessons have been learned'.

The same old cliche get out when a monumental balls up has been made.

The BNP warned years ago that this was happening In Rochdale after they were contacted by families let down by police.... Nick Griffin was later charged and found not guilty of Inciting Racial Hatred for speaking out about It..... that aside...

What concerns me more Is that because the girl came from In the main single parent families on benefit, they were deemed prostitutes by police.

I think I read something about this a long time ago. A bunch of men preying on young teen girls. Seems it was young girls from economically challenged families or whatever. I can see such things happening to naive young girls, some of who can be lured into prostitution by whatever means. I believe this happened. I also believe that those men got sentences far too lenient, I can only hope that some better individuals in the prisons treat them like what they are. Scum.

I'd simply never let them see the light of day again, a bullet in the head would be too good for them.

As for the individuals that didn't do their jobs, perhaps they need to find another line of work.

The fact that the gang was In the main Muslim has no bearing for me. I don't care If they were English.... It's the fact that It was going on for over 10 years with young girls lives being ruined and being written off by Police and Social Services.

In desperation when some of the families turned to the Far Right, authorities channeled their energy Into arresting and prosecuting the leader because he dared speak out about It.

No-one has ever really given a reason as to why these victims and their families were treated so appallingly but my guess Is that authorities knew all along the gang were Asian and were more worried about racial tension than doing the right thing by those girls.

Also, you should read "Half the Sky". Its pretty moving. In some cases police are paid by brother owners pretty heavily to look the other way or keep their mouths shut.

Sounds plausible and could be very likely. There are certain things you don't do to minorities if you're white here. It cost a cop his life here in Seattle years ago.
