I am always suspicious of what I see/hear via CNN, RT, Al Jazeera, Sky, BBC, you name it et al. These broadcasters all have their own agenda.
But one fact I am certain of is that lately children on both sides, Gaza & Israel, have been injured and killed in a conflict which their elders started.
Why do people want to kill each other like this? What drives a human to unleash a rocket attack or an air strike against a fellow human, knowing full well that the consequence of your actions will be death and maiming?
When will the common people realise that they and they alone have the power to stop the killing fields? Why do we not unite as one worldwide and say to these killers & warmongers: "Enough is enough. We do not want leaders who sanction killing & we do not want a parliament who gives the power of life and death to these leaders?
Why do we not force the Presidents, Prime Ministers and Parliaments to "give peace a chance?"
FFS ... we vote these killers into power term after term so if they start wars and sanction killing, let's vote them out!!!!!!!!!

Children Should Be Seen And Not Hurt!
When will the common people realise that they and they alone have the power to stop the killing fields?
The large majority of people don't care, in some cases don't even know what is going on. A small part revel in it, it's entertainment to them and many approve of it. Others feel helpless to change the situation and know that if they do they will be thrown onto those killing fields.
I don't mean to go off topic but look at the situation in Greece. They have cut all government to the bone, the economy is suffering and so are the people. Hospitals don't function well, schools you name it. There is one government institution that they have not cut seriously. The military. The politicians will not touch that, they may need it to defend themselves from their own people and make no mistake, they will do it.
It seems to me that democracy has become an engine of destruction.
