Where Is It then ?

Post by Oscar Namechange »

On June 2nd 2009 David Cameron spoke from his Westminster office and made a video.

In It he was begging for votes and demanding that Gordon Brown give the British people the referendum HE promised us.

Now he's promising us there will be a referendum AFTER the next general election....... assuming him and his dummy are still In power.....

Well done voters... you fell for that one back In June 2009 eh ?

Haven't you heard the latest? apparently even if a nation state decides to have a vote to leave a union that results in a vote in favour of leaving then they can't actually leave said union unless the other members agree. It seems his preferred option is getting more powers from the eu but only if the referendum result is in favour of staying with the union. Who knows maybe we will be told we have to have the referendum by a set date and there will only be two options.

Joking aside maybe the consequences of having a referendum are dawning on him. Let's not forget it was his party that signed us up to the Maastricht treaty no word of a referendum on the subject then.
