OMG! I hope nobody sees this as an attack on the USA!!!!!!!!

I just had to include this as the Americans are not alone when it comes to muddled thinking:

That's David Letterman for you....will say any thing to get a response....let me rephrase that...his writers will write any thing for him to say.

Now that is muddled.
