Boehners Defeat?

Post by Scrat »

I don't know what to make of this but I have a feeling the Republicans in DC are finally beginning to wake up. Maybe they are finally starting to figure out that it's time for a change.

The BBC said yesterday that it looked like the Republicans covering their asses: "See? We've tried to sort it but those nasty Democrats are trying to wreck the country."

I have the impression that watching American politics is becoming an increasingly popular hobby over here. I wish I could claim it was from sober political interest, but I suspect the showbiz and soap opera elements also enthrall. :wah:
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

Could be Clod. I do believe there is a theater element to it but considering what has happened here lately there's a lot of ill feeling towards the GOP amongst those who give a damn.

It's the attraction of the theatre of the absurd. Half the politicians would be laughed out of office in the UK.
