It's going to be called Silver Alert

And it is similar to Amber Alert, except is to be

used primarily for missing and at risk seniors,

such as those with Alzheimer's or other medical

problems.

For once, I think California has come up with a good

new law.

Yes, we've had that law for a few years. Wish we had it years ago when my mom, who had alzheimers, tried to hop a bus to New York from Noo Joisey. Luckily, an officer knew she was stressed and stopped her before getting on that bus...

I think this is great idea as well. Occasionally on our local news, there have been alerts about elderly or handicapped people who have been gone missing. Most of the time, they have been found disoriented, but safe.
