I hope they have a successful season again this year and send more little eagles out in the world! Bald eagles are slowly but surely becoming a presence again here in southern Virginia after their numbers had fallen off dramatically for a few decades. They're still few enough in numbers though that a sighting is followed by a mad dash for a camera and the resultant photo ends up on the front page of the local newspaper. It would be wonderful to have them become a common sight again!

All I can see Is an empty nest but this Is wonderful... Thank you halfway !

Bald eagles are my most favourite and I'll be watching this all the time now...

No eggs yet flopstock, but they should be on their way in the next few weeks.

It is nice to see the continuing expansion deeper into the lower 48.

They also serve as carrion eaters, a fact which many people are astonished at when they see it in action. I watched a pair devour a whitetail over a period of three days. They would get so bloated, they appeared to have "beer bellies" and struggled to take flight!!!
