I had been reading about the fate of the planet recently and realized that although it's far off, there will come a time when Earth will resemble Venus.
And some member[s] of another species on some not so distant planet might view it from whatever apparatus is available to them and ask: I wonder if life ever existed on that planet.
So I keep that in mind when I look out a window or take a stroll. I'm learning to appreciate my home planet for what it is now and what it will become later on. We live a privileged life with our ability to see the future of our world.

Nah, when the red giant comes along we'll just be vapour inside the sun - we certainly would not have an atmosphere as dense as Venus.
