How much colder

can it get?

I'm beginning to think the UK has been turned upside down. Its so bitterly cold here it feels like Scotland :wah:

My house hasn't been warm for days and the heating is on constantly eating the gas like no ones business. Hope it's not here for too much longer or I will be cutting back the shopping budget even further next week.

One good thing is that the bitterly cold wind that hasn't let up for days is drying the land out at the moment. Flights from Land's End Airport have finally resumed after weeks, if not months of being unable to use the too wet runway.

Is the whole of the UK windy or is it just Cornwall? :wah:

Bitterly cold wind...but I'm glad it's dry whilst I'm moving...nothing worse than traipsing in and out of here and there and getting wet each time.

Same here in Noo Joisey Betty. Freezing cold with constant storms, rain and freezing rain. I can't stand it anymore. When I come home, I have to put the electric blanket on for a half hour until the home warms up. I'm fed with with the Sandy storm and weather changes.

It is The Wind along with the Cold that makes it sooooo unbearable!

My part time job has me outside for hours.......BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
