Phew!
All moved in and reconnected. I'd forgotten how stressful moving could be...now I just need to find a suitable chair to sit in whilst I'm using my computer...

Phew!
Glad to hear you are In Theia but of course It takes months to get really settled.
Wishing you good luck and happiness In your new home.
Yes, It's sooo stressful.
When I moved to Bristol from The South Downs, I was blessed with the most marvelous removal team who even plumbed In my washing machine and made my bed when we got to the other end. They were old school friends of my brother so they really wanted to look after me.
We had an arctic lorry but we had to also hire a Sherpa Van to bring my 9 cats up. I was so worried about them and followed the van In my car. They were all In Individual cat carriers and as they were all rescue cats they were quite stressed out. One had to be sedated prior. I will never forget stopping with the van at the services half way, parking up and hearing every one of them howling for all they were worth. People were staring at us as though we were mad cat nappers.... But It went really smoothly....
Now time to put your feet up Theia.

Well, I've downsized to a first floor flat, which actually is ideal, or will be once I'm settled.
The story of your cats' move is funny...nine cats howling! :wah:

Too lazy to move the old chair to this little bedroom...it's tucked away under the table...so I'm currently perched precariously on two cushions atop of a tiny stool

Did you have problems with too much stuff when you downsized as we did ? So difficult.
One of the 9 cats was a Siamese.... you can only Imagine !!!! The one who had to be sedated was a pyscho Tabby. We were his 7th home. We sedated him at 7 am and by 10 am It had worn off.... yeah that worked... not..... all the others arrived after the very long journey worn out by their howling all day except him who flew out of that carrier spitting fire and brimstone.

I saw my thread and thought, what am I phewing about now? Couldn't remember...
but no, I haven't got a chair...I'm using this mini iPad all the time, which is a little hard on the eyes and which keeps using words that I don't want, but which is better than sitting on the floor

I freaking HATE moving!!! (Which is funny since I've done it so much in my life!)
The upside to moving: You get to redecorate and rethink all your placement of your stuff!
The downside of moving: You have to CARRY all that stuff!
The real downside to moving: HOW DID I GET ALL THIS STUFF?!!!
