It is a hell of a lot lonelier in a large crowd of strangers.

I have just tried to post the place I am staying at, but I am not so clever as Tyr.

I spent a while getting there and a while getting back and the rest of the trip enjoying the island's ambiance. During the course of the vacation I've messed my right leg up sufficiently that I now have four appointments booked at my local treatment room for re-bandaging. The limp from a sprained ankle is fading slowly but the hematoma from falling hard on my shin is persistent and unpleasantly deep.

There were ten of us in the lodge, one being my younger daughter who arrived direct from driving slowly around the US from Lake Erie to New York by way of Tennessee. I have yet to see her photos. I think she was away for three months before she hit Scotland.

I never did find my list so I went back through the last round and this one and have reconstructed a shortened version.
