Christmas gift

Was thinking of buying a music giftcard for my sister so she can choose what she wants to listen to. But have anyone used [link removed] and knows how [link removed] works with it? And is it even legit?

Tokens have a very bad smell in England, every Christmas there are companies who issue tokens - Jessops last year, for example, or Borders, or Comet, or HMV - and then declare bankruptcy before the gifts can be redeemed. Who in his right mind is going to buy that when they can hand over cash in an envelope instead? What possible difference does a token make other than the possibility of becoming valueless. The current legal protection of reclaiming from a credit card company only works in this country if the gift value exceeds £100, I can't see many cases falling into that category.

I think it's us who are being scammed. Check out: 'Got Any Tips' by sleepysanta & BigRodney 'Xmas Gift'. Big Rodney, there's even a scam in the name.

Yeah this all seems to be a concerted effort to get these two websites in everybody's faces. This isn't the only forum these creeps are showing up on.

I though we had blocks in place to keep first time posters from posting links.

I merged the three threads with the three suspect posters, removed their links and now reckon its time to ban them :wah:

Need to keep the threads though just for the saucy poster :D
