Letter I Never Sent But Should Have.

I wonder if anyone else has one?

Mine was to a lady who for reasons I never knew at the time, resigned from our family business. She was the best in her position and instead of asking her why she was leaving, I simply let her go. I actually wrote a letter to her asking her to come back but because of my pride, I never posted it

A few months later I ran into her husband at the local mall and told him that I should have written her and asked her to come back. He invited me to their home for supper a week or so later and the lady concerned told me that had I posted the letter she would have returned like a shot.

If only I'd posted that letter!

I think a lot of people have. I'm sure I have but my brain seems all over the place at the moment, so I cannot think/remember the actual situation.
