What is the silliest thing..?

Post by Chloe_88 »

What is the silliest thing you've ever done?

I've probably done tons of silly things in the past.

About 10 years ago I was wearing big woolly socks.. I went up to the attic to get something, and as I went back down the steep stairs, I realised I had closed the door at the bottom of the stairs.. and as that thought hit me, my foot slid inside the woolly sock, and I ended up rolling down the stairs, crashing in to the door at the bottom. All I could do was laugh!

Today I decided to practise on my "needle prepping" (not for sewing but injection needles), I got all the sterile stuff out, went spastic and stabbed myself in the finger (3 times... ), just missing the joint. Althought thinking about it, i might of gone in the top and out of the bottom and after that stabbed myself a third time (?!).

Anywho.. My OH called me a silly bint, asking me how I could do such a stupid thing.. He grabbed new sterile stuff, went to take the cap off the needle and stabbed himself in the finger!

So now we are sat here, both with a sore finger..

No, we were not trying to do drugs. Just practicing our needle skills. That sounds bad.. :yh_rotfl

Seriously I'm going to self inject (intramusculaire) vitamin b12. Please don't boo hoo me on this (i've had enough of that already).. My needle skills were just a bit " rusty " :yh_rotfl

So.. what is the silliest thing you've ever got up to?

I'll merely mention that I currently have shockingly bright red, blue and yellow sparkle varnish on my toenails and leave it at that.

Silly maybe but not unusual

Today's silly thing was trying to mislead Anne into thinking the Brothers Grim are twins :wah:

And I did it again right up there:wah:, only one brother is grim :sneaky:

I once burst out singing "The Sound of Music" at the top of my voice in a crowded grocery store checkout line. I got to the third line before my wife elbowed me in the ribs. It was silly at the time.

Oh...when I was young, I once pulled the bottom glass gallon bottle of vinegar from a massive bay-end pyramid. The resulting crashing cascade of the entire six-foot-tall stack and the yellow tide flowing down the aisles sent everyone in the store running out the door.

Does that count?

I do silly things on a daily basis. I'm constantly tripping over stuff, and falling down and running into things. EEK! :)

Well that can't be good! Are you a bit accident prone ?

I know I am, but we found the cause of it 3 months ago, vitamin b12 deficiency.

Although not getting regular shots of b12 at the moment, the "silly" stuff is becoming one of the daily things to deal with again.. Few days ago I went to take a sip of tea, but I forgot to open my mouth... :lips: Now what the? who forgets to open their mouth when drinking someting! DOH!

Yes I'm a bit accident prone. I've been known to walk across the yard and suddenly fall down, and not even know what I fell over! I didn't see anything! I have actually ran into a glass door! My depth perception seems to be a bit off as well. I was making soup one day and when I was trying to put some into a bowl, when I would lift up the spoon I wouldn't get it up high enough and I kept hitting the side of the bowl! I figured maybe it's my vertigo acting up.
